Sing Tao Daily Offers All-in-One School Paper Programme
Aligned with the new senior secondary academic structure, Sing Tao Daily has launched a new all-in-one school paper programme, which covers learning materials for languages and liberal studies. The subscription is the first of its kind in Hong Kong encompassing both Chinese and English newspapers. With its comprehensive content, interactive activities and online materials, the programme will facilitate schools, teachers and students to adapt to the "334" new academic structure.
Moreover, Sing Tao Daily has organized the "Back To School 334 Seminar" on August 24, with experienced education experts offering advice to schools, teachers and parents on the new academic structure. The seminar received tremendous support with a large audience of teachers and parents participating actively in the discussions. Headline Daily Celebrates 4th Anniversary with Record Readership

This July, Headline Daily celebrated its 4th anniversary, maintaining its lead as the no. 1 free newspaper in terms of content, circulation network, readership and advertising volume. According to Hong Kong Audit Bureau of Circulations, Headline Daily's average daily circulation reached 731,619 copies in the second quarter. In addition, the latest research conducted by Synovate Media Atlas (2008 Q3 to 2009 Q2 report) also revealed that the readership of Headline Daily stood at 1,443,000; the majority are quality readers: 936,000 in employment, 769,000 purchasing decision-makers, 517,000 with monthly household income of $30,000 or above, 509,000 in professional, top management, manager, trader, owner or white-collar positions; and 357,000 credit card holders at platinum level or above. In appreciation of the readers' support, a special edition octagonal "The best for the best" umbrella with colour choices of blue and orange was offered for redemption in August. Meanwhile, Headline Daily will carry on upholding its editorial professionalism to provide more extensive and diversified content to readers.

Sing Tao Daily Organizes "Love and Care Project" with Yan Oi Tong
Sing Tao Daily is offering assistance to the needy suffering from adversity through the launch of "Love and Care Project" with Yan Oi Tong. A ceremony was held in early August where Mrs. Corona Cheuk, Yan Oi Tong Chairperson, presented a cheque of HK$1,000,000 to Mr. Siu Sai Wo, Chief Editor of Sing Tao Daily. The cooperation agreement was also signed by the two representatives, marking the initiation of the project. PC Market Organizes Innovation Carnival at 2009's Computer Festival

Sing Tao News Corporation Reports Interim Results
Sing Tao News Corporation Limited announced its interim results on September 3. The Group reported consolidated revenue of HK$1,201.7 million and a consolidated loss of HK$22.2 million, and maintained the distribution of an interim dividend. With the advertising market stabilizing and the cost of newsprint down at lower levels, the Group's Media operations are recuperating and returning to their course of growth.
