To further increase its competitive strength, Headline Daily has recently enhanced its printing capacity to 800,000 copies per day with a maximum page count of 136. The no. 1 free newspaper attained another record high readership of 1,612,000, according to the survey by Synovate Media Atlas (2009 Q3 to 2010 Q2 report). The profile of the readership is also high quality, with 877,000 readers being family purchasing decision-makers, 577,000 having monthly household income of over HK$30,000 and 574,000 being in professional, management, business or white-collar positions. As such, Headline Daily provides an effective advertising platform for its clients. Headline Daily Lands on iPad and Launches a Sunday Online Edition
Headline Daily is always at the forefront of its industry and launched the iPad version. At the beginning of September, Headline Daily unveiled its Sunday edition, the only Sunday free newspaper in Hong Kong, which is available on all major digital platforms, including its website hkheadline.com and its mobile site mob.hkheadline.com, as well as via iPad, iPhone and Nokia smart phone applications. "Smart Parents" Generates Popular Demand
"Smart Parents", launched by Sing Tao Daily half a year ago, is seeing growing popularity among parents. According to the survey by HKABC (2010 May-July report), the average circulation per issue reached 63,463 copies. Priority coupons for free redemption of "Smart Parents" are available in Sing Tao Daily every Thursday. "Smart Parents" is proactive in offering interactive activities to promote communication with parents, such as the setting up of a Facebook page in July, which has so far attracted over 4,000 readers; in September, two sessions of "Auntie Mok Phonics Teaching Charity Seminar" were co-organized with Mrs. Mok Ho Man Yee to share tips with parents on learning English for children from an early age.

Sing Tao Overseas At a Glance
Sing Tao Daily's San Francisco Office organized the "Sing Tao Education Exhibition 2010" as the finale of its summer series of education activities, including a tutorial for SAT examination and university tours. 13 relevant organizations were invited to set up booths and give seminars to potential freshmen and their parents. Useful and most up-to-date information plus the dazzling giveaways attracted over 3,000 visitors to join the event. On August 21, The Standard launched the first and the only free English news application for iPad in Hong Kong. This comes in a flip-page format for an easy and virtual reading experience. Sing Tao Long Service Awardees Witness Achievements

A total of 118 staff members who have served the Sing Tao Group for one or more decades received the Long Service Award on July 30, marking a record high. Among them were a notable member of department heads. Mr. Lo Wing Hung, CEO of Sing Tao News Corporation, explained, "A significant number of talents joined the Group ten years ago as part of the effort to revamp its products. Over these ten years, Sing Tao Daily has successfully been transformed into a middle-class family newspaper, and a range of outstanding new products have also been added to the Group's portfolio. Sing Tao News Corporation Reports Interim Results
Sing Tao News Corporation Limited announced its interim results on August 25. The consolidated revenue increased by 34% and profit attributable to shareholders made a major turnaround to reach HK$104.9 million, representing one of the Group's best set of results in recent years. The Group's Media operations performed very well with a 28% growth in revenue, thanks to the buoyant advertising environment. The advertising revenue of Headline Daily and Sing Tao Daily went up by 48% and 47% respectively. The strong growth trend experienced by our core Media products in the first half suggests a bright outlook on the Group's results for the full year.
